Introduction Volunteering is any activity in which time given to assist another individual, group, or organization. It assists people who want get involved philanthropic programs that help volunteers develop awareness and lead healthier personal social lives. Several have received specialized training the fields they volunteer, such as health, mental education, emergency rescue. Volunteers are rendering intervention different areas health. They providing psychosocial support individuals, groups, community, promoting health through conducting various community. There a growing concern about India due inaccessibility of services. The National Institute Mental Health Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) being premier institute for devising innovative approaches care reach unreachable. One initiative was build capacity community interested working cause Methods objective this study evaluate outcome well-being volunteer program. This used descriptive cross-sectional research design, wherein all 136 trained (WBVs) were included sample. data collected from attended WBV program, initiated by NIMHANS Centre Well-being (NCWB) Department Psychiatric Social Work NIMHANS.
